Imaginelson: A Means to a BeginningExpression through art has been life-long for me. I'm an organic wordsmith and a Self-taught sculptress. I began romancing clay in 1989. What began as a flirtation became an outlet that became an obsession that became a life-path.
The integrity and intention of my work is based on the invitation to make I contact with what lies between. Art allows me to experience and share the gravitational pull between beauty and the eye of the beholder; the ancient bond between a wink and a nod.
Those who see themSelves in my work look beyond the face of the piece, or the mirror of words, to the truer reflection: the perpetual work-in-progress, the I captured in mid-evolution, in the moment between clay to stone.
My sculptures, hand-built stoneware and written works are collected internationally by some, and internally by others.
